On the new computer, I am able to see the CAC Card reader in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers. Using my old personal computer and several other government computers, I am able to access DEE with no problems because they are all able to access the PIV (Personal Identity Verification) Certificate on my CAC card. A micro USB-A power adapter is connected to the USB OTG These external devices are connected through a USB OTG hub adapter. Hardware wise, I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse connected as well as a CAC (Common Access Card) reader, model SCR3310. My new computer is a Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet that runs Windows 8.1 with the latest updates applied as of the writing of this question. I am not able to access the military e-mail system, Defense Enterprise E-mail (DEE) from my new computer.
